  • What is a Mental Health Care Plan?

    A Mental Health Care Plan (or Mental Health Treatment Plan) is created with your GP to help you access Medicare rebates for psychological treatment under the Better Access program.

    Psychologist Medicare Rebates

    Medicare rebates cover part of your session cost. From 1 July 2024:

    • Clinical Psychologist: $141.85 rebate per 50+ minute session

    How to Get a Mental Health Care Plan?

    Book a long appointment with your GP or see a psychiatrist to check your eligibility.

    With a valid referral and MHCP plan, you can claim Medicare rebates for up to 10 sessions each calendar year.

Assessment Fees

Assessment fees vary based onthe type of test, level of assessment needs, the depth of reporting or feedback provided. Please contact us directly to request a detailed quote.

Below is a rough guide for some of our comprehensive assessments:

  • Autism Assessment: around $2000- $3000

  • Learning Assessment: around $2000

  • ADHD Assessment: around $2000 – $3000

  • Cognitive Assessment: around $1500 - $2000

NDIS Services

For plan managed NDIS clients, we will invoice your plan managers. For self-managed clients, your fee is paid at the end of your session, and you can claim back with NDIS. Please refer to NDIS Pricing Arrangements for the respective fees of the services you require.

Cancellation Policy

Please provide more than 48 hours’ notice to avoid cancellations fees. A No Show fee is considered to have occurred if the client is late by more than 20 mins to an appointment. Cancellation fees are as follow: ​

Informing us promptly regarding the change of appointment will allow us to offer the appointment spot for other clients who are on the waitlist. 

We understand that occasionally an emergency may happen and you cannot give us advanced notice. In these circumstances, please call, text, or email us as soon as possible to explain what has happened.
